Hullo Everyone! 

They are finally here! Fukkoi information sheet.
Trust me I wanted to add a lot more but god lets keep this at least kind of short for now XD

Fukkoi are a CLOSED SPECIES. You may not make your own. (only permitted during special auctions.) 

These are still a species in development, so if you have any questions please ask! I would love to answer. 



Species Name: Fukkoi
Found: Around the world
Live in: Ponds, small lakes. Rarely larger bodies of water.  (Look up Koi Ponds for inspirations! ) 
Lifespan: 100-150 years

Synopsis: 
Protectors of great and small bodies of water the Fukkoi are a respected species, and not one to be trifled with. These large creatures resemble what a Beta-fish, fu-dog and koi might look like if they were to converge into a single body. As one might expect their attitudes reflect the violent nature of the two first species, the meek and humble koi usually takes a backseat- but its characteristics can also be found if you happen to get to know one long enough.

Appearance: 
  • Strong, almost stocky in build yet still elegant. 
  • Fat round claws. 
  • Spots above eyes.
  • Nose outline (Always same color as eye spots) 
  • Dorsal fin starts just a fraction before mid back/ where their back bends down
  • Snaggle teeth can be non existent, small, long, grow up and grow down. 
  • Female Fukkoi have slender heads, and of course, eettyyy beeeetie fins. 
  • Special Features:
    • Neck Fins - 9/10% 
    • Snaggle Tooth- 8/10% 
    • Side Fins -  7/10 %  
    • Whiskers-  3/10% 
    • Feathers - 5/10 %  
    • Mini Fins- 1/10%

Culture and Habitat:
  • Fukkoi live in bodies of water, big and small alike. Waters ranging from murky brown lakes to crystal clear ponds whose shores are dotted by cherry trees. A Fukkoi will protect its water as well as the inhabitants who dwell nearby.  
  • Their diet mainly consists of fish and crustaceans, but they have the ability to eat  zooplankton as well.
  • Male fukkoi are solitary in nature, when another male gets near and ignores the warning roars they will fight to the death. Meanwhile Females can live in communities up to 6 members in size. 
  • A common critter to find living near Fukkoi are Pomph cats. The small fluffy creatures are an enjoyable and welcomed presence to any and all Fukkoi. Often times the smaller animals climb and crawl all over the Fukkoi and unintentionally shine and polish scales.

Extras:
  • A fukkois voice/noises  are very deep. They come from the chest and should one    be angry enough the reverberations can be felt miles away.
  • A fukkoi will not stop growing until it dies. 
  • A fukkois shoulder height averages around 50 inches at the shoulder
  • The fin that stretches along a fukkois back is called a "sail"
